We had been looking for quite a while for just the right dog to become a new member of our family, and when we found Sandy we knew we had found her, so it was with total excitement that we picked her up and brought her home. We have a large family with 9 children ranging in age from 20 years down to 9 months old, so we knew that our new dog would have to be quite special, and chosen with care, and she was. We also purposely chose a professionally trained dog so that we would be able to start off on the right foot and that our dog would be well mannered and a joy to have with us, which Sandy also was. She is such a sweet dog, and so smart that it wasn’t hard to fall instantly in love with her. I was greatly impressed with how easily she acclimated to our busy household, and how quickly she figured out her new routine. I was particularly pleased with how well she was potty trained, it made life so much easier. We decided early on we wanted her to potty in a designated spot in our yard, so we took her to that spot every single time for potty breaks, and by only the third day she herself headed to that same spot every time without me having to lead the way. Again, she is so smart. And she also had no problem responding to me as her new handler, she made the transition with ease and hardly a hiccup.
She loved playing fetch with my older children, and enjoyed snuggling on her dog bed and being “sung a lullaby” by my 2 year old that simply adored her. She called for Sandy as soon as she woke up in the morning and headed right off to play with her new best friend, and cried for her as she went to bed each night until Sandy came to give her a “kiss” goodnight.[sws_divider_basic]
I have been a dog owner off and on for my whole life. Now that I’m a mother, I want my kids to have the same positive experience of having a beloved family pet. After meeting Lola I knew she would be a perfect fit for our family. Never in my life have I seen a puppy behave so well as Lola. I am used to puppies that are rambunctious and out of control. She is exceedingly gentle and calm and she just wants to snuggle and be loved. My children (ages 9,7,5 and 2) were ecstatic. They fell in love with her soft ears, and affectionate little grunts. She even rings her little bell to go out to potty![sws_divider_basic]
Toby is wonderful and I am even better with him. He turns heads where ever he goes and all the little (and big) kids ask to pet him. Many people comment on how calm and mild mannered he is for his age and I agree. Having the training a head has been a big plus![sws_divider_basic]
Just wanted you to know Libby is doing GREAT! She follows all her commands, waits at the door for the kids to leave first and then follows after the OK, stays on command, rings her bell to go potty…. she’s WONDERFUL! The first night she was a little timid, but that didn’t stop her from sleeping in her new crate all night long. She does great going to bed& the kids all adore her.[sws_divider_basic]
Thank you for all your time yesterday when we picked up Drake. Your skill with puppy training is very evident. We traveled home yesterday and Drake did very well. We stopped frequently and he was good outside every time.
He thinks our cat is very fun and tries to play. Max is not impressed, but remains curious. I think in time they’ll end up being friends.[sws_divider_basic]
I would like to take the time to tell you how much we LOVE Rosebud!! She is by far the best puppy I have ever had! She is love able, loyal, cuddly and very smart. Everyone that sees her tells me that they wish there puppy was this well behaved. It was so worth the extra money to have your attend your puppy program. She knows her commands very well and only cries out a few times when place her into her crate. I took her to the vet on Monday and my vet said that Rosebud was the best puppy she has ever seen![sws_divider_basic] Just a quick update on Mika. He’s so awesome! He was really calm on the ride home, used the bell to go out almost immediately, obeys his commands really well except “off” isn’t his favorite (thought he might get away with laying on the couch but that didn’t work out for him), is great on the leash on his walks, doesn’t complain when we put him in his room and is overall an amazing dog. Thanks for giving us the fun of a puppy without all the stress and work! We love him to death. [sws_divider_basic]
What a blast we have had since mid May when we FINALLY got to bring our boy Luke home, after spending some quality time being trained! We had a hard time justifying the expense…but it was worth every penny! Luke is by far the best dog we have ever owned. Luke had only one (yes, we said one) accident in the house after we brought him home, and that was on his second day here. He was just nervous and had to figure out where we kept his bell to let us know when he had to go out. The bell by the door has to be the coolest thing ever! He let’s us know when he has to go out…or when he just wants to go outside to play. We recommend PoochieBells.com for the best bells. They are loud enough to be heard wherever we are in the house.
Speaking of obeying, we have to tell you another great story about Luke. Our niece is 6 years old and is PETRIFIED of dogs. In her short life, she has been bitten by not one, but two different dogs in her neighborhood. One day, she came over to our house, and of course was very scared of Luke. We had Luke sit stay. Then, we taught our niece how to get Luke to sit, down, stay. We called Luke over by us. She started to get very nervous…then we reminded her what to do. She very timidly gave Luke the command “sit”, then “stay”. He immediately sat. Then, our niece giggled with excitement. We told her to tell him down, and he plopped down and layed there until we released him. What a good dog. Now, she comes over and is still a little nervous, but also knows exactly what to do, and Luke obeys her every command.
We can’t tell you enough how impressed we are by Luke, and the trainer who trained Luke. We’re attaching a couple of pictures. We hope you enjoy them![sws_divider_basic]
Thank you for bringing Allie into our lives, she is filling a void that we did not even know existed. We can take Allie into any restaurant and she sits quietly under the table and waits. She has gone into the Living Planet Aquarium in Salt Lake and did not react to the Otters or Penguins. She is even able to be taken into the Disney store at City Creek Mall without reacting to children. This is all before she even turns 9 months old. We have supplemented the training that you gave with training from Communi Canine who, by the way, was very impressed with your instruction manual. But even they were very impressed with Allie. What was expected to take months has been shortened into weeks of training.
Allie is a service dog for my wife and eventually will help her with everyday tasks like picking up dropped items to retrieving items from the fridge for her. With my wife’s MS which currently affects her strength in the hands and her balance, Allie is providing a remarkable companion service. I do not think that she would have been half as good as she is without the foundation that you and your trainers have provided. Her ability to learn and adapt is remarkable. She is also so at home in any setting, no matter how foreign it is to her. If Allie is an example of all your work, it will not be long before people ask if she if a Haley Jensen Dog. Thanks again for not only the well trained dog but also our family member Allie.
